Cast & Crew

Eli Barraza (creator, writer, voice of Peri) is a writer and performer who seeks to explore stories, rather than perfect them. This is her first audio drama, after honing her skills in the writer's room of ars Paradoxica and writing for the monthly play festival Shotz! LA, as well as contributing to the multimedia experience LIMINUSIn her spare time, Eli learns about astronomy, climbs rocks, and wanders the wayward streets of Los Angeles and its outlying areas.

Noah Gildermaster (voice of Ace) is an actor and filmmaker brought to you by The Great Midwest. Why are the words “the” and “great” capitalized you ask, well it’s probably because the Midwest is simply that awesome. He majored in Art and Design at Iowa State University and a few years later found himself in Los Angeles doing something completely different and even more amazing. If one day a crazy wild-eyed scientist showed up in a DeLorean asking him to go to the future, he probably would. However, currently in present day you can find him over on the YouTube channel Pop Not Soda and occasional guest host on Geography NowBeing quite a science fiction enthusiast himself, Noah is thrilled and excited to be a part of The Far Meridian family.

Danielle Shemaiah (voice of Ruth) is a storyteller, actor-combatant, and part-time gadgeteer hailing from the Southern Wilds of Louisiana. Known as something of a nomad, she currently splits her time between there, New York, and Los Angeles. A graduate of Emerson College’s Acting and WLP programs, Danielle is a staff writer for ars PARADOXICA and part of the creative team for the alternate reality game/immersive theatre project LIMINUS. Despite the Liberal Arts background, Danielle spends most of her free time tinkering with/lovingly engrossed in robotics, and will talk your ear off about the creative science of theme park technology, if given half the chance. Danielle is beyond excited to be a part of The Far Meridian, and constantly grateful for the loved ones who help her to find her way when she’s feeling lost in the fog. She’s doing this for them.

They are executive producer of The Whisperforge, a network born out of its flagship show ars Paradoxica. They also co-produce The Bright Sessions and work regularly at Wondery, most notably on the show I Hate My Boss. When not locked in the studio for days at a time, Mischa is also a fashion mannequin for soft comfortable clothing, a novice punk-rocker, a decent cook, and a wandering soul.

Juliana Parker (composer/violin) was born the youngest of 3 in 1996, into a family of dedicated musicians who encouraged her from the very beginning to take up instruments as a means of connection and understanding. In sixth grade she begged for piano lessons and learned from a thick Billy Joel volume until it was all under her fingers. The rest is history still writing. In autumn of 2014 she started at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and laid low for a while, working on her craft and declaring Songwriting major. In 2017 Juliana received The Songwriting Foundation Scholarship At Berklee. She also was awarded runner-up in Radio Airplay's Love Song 2017 Contest with "Waiting on the Line." With addictive basslines and poignant, witty lyrics, Juliana's music is sure to keep you spellbound. julianaparkermusic.com

The Album Leaf (main theme, season 1) has been making its mark as a soft-spoken innovator steadily and surely since 1999. The solo project-turned-band created by LA-based multi-instrumentalist Jimmy LaValle, The Album Leaf has released six studio albums and toured across the country with Icelandic band Sigur Rós. Their most recent album Between Waves was released in 2016 on the Relapse Records label. The diversity of The Album Leaf's’s music is second only to the diversity of the music that has inspired LaValle through the years – the artist has named everything from German Ambient/Psych bands like Can, Cluster and Harmonia to traditional mariachi music, electronic music and Brian Eno as some of his primary influences – and it’s clear that The Album Leaf is unafraid of thinking outside the box, both as an individual artist and within the larger scope of modern music. thealbumleaf.com
